Voice Overs

The first cartoon in my voice over career was Disney’s Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree, in Norwegian. I was fourteen years old and assigned the voices of Christopher Robin and Roo. My personal favorite was Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too. In addition to cartoon voice overs, I have been hired to do a variety of fun gigs, including Latin-American radio commercials, Japanese toy commercials, corporate training videos and telephone prompts.

The cool thing about voice overs is that it gives us an excellent excuse to express sides of ourselves that otherwise are suppressed by the need to fit in and behave ourselves, depending on the level of programming we have received in our formative years. Exploring an developing different voices is a great tool for freeing our expression. It can also be a lucrative tool to build residual income.

If you are interested in doing voice overs, or if you are a professional wanting to further expand your capacity, I can assist you in developing your unique voices and make sure you don’t damage your vocal cords in the process.

If you want to hire me to do voice overs, I am available for studio sessions. I can also provide my own recordings and provide files via email or download. I am fluent in English and Norwegian, and can also sing in Swedish, Italian, French, Spanish, German and Portuguese.
